You don’t need to eat less and train more to build the physique you want. You need to train smarter, fuel properly, and stay consistent 1. Prioritize progressive overload. Gradually increase your weights, reps, or training quality to give your muscles a reason to grow 2. Eat enough protein. Aim for roughly 0.7–1g per pound of body weight daily to support muscle growth, recovery, and satiety 3. Stop fearing carbohydrates!!! Carbs fuel your workouts, replenish muscle glycogen, and help you maintain training intensity 4. Lift with intention 3–4x per week. More workouts don’t automatically mean better results. Quality, recovery, and consistency matter more than training every day. 5. Increase your daily movement. Walking is an underrated way to support energy expenditure without adding excessive training stress. Find a sustainable daily step goal. 6. Prioritize sleep. Aim for 7–9 hours nightly. Poor sleep can impact recovery, hunger regulation, and training performance. 7. Stop constantly dieting. Spending time eating at maintenance can help you fuel muscle growth, improve performance, and support body recomposition. 8. Eat mostly nutrient dense whole foods. Prioritize protein, fruits, vegetables, fiber rich carbs, and healthy fats to support digestion, recovery, and overall health. 9. Incorporate athletic-style training. Combine foundational strength exercises with functional movements, core stability, and conditioning to build a strong, capable body. 10. Be patient and CONSISTENT. Body recomposition takes time. Stop changing your calories and workout routine every two weeks because you aren’t seeing immediate results. The goal isn’t to see how little you can eat or how much you can burn. It’s to build a body that’s strong, fueled, and healthy😚 And remember: fat loss isn’t always necessary to see more muscle definition. Building muscle at maintenance can change your physique without chasing a lower number on the scale If you’re tired of guessing with your workouts and nutrition and want a structured approach to building muscle and improving your body composition, apply for 1:1 coaching through the link in my bio 🔗 axeathleticclub.com #bodyrecomposition #strengthtraining #musclebuilding #weightloss #abs
