Yes, it really is THAT dark outside. We can barely see a thing. But here's the plot twist: We don't need to. We fly under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR), even in broad daylight. Instead of relying on what we see outside, we use our instruments to navigate and know exactly where we're going. So whether it's 2 PM or 2 AM, for most of the flight, it makes pretty much no difference to us. The view is optional. The instruments aren't. ✈️
