Students at Louisa County High School in Virginia are using their automotive skills for something much bigger than classroom assignments. Through a partnership with the nonprofit Giving Words, they repair donated cars and give them to single mothers who need reliable transportation. Led by teacher Shane Robertson, the program has already donated more than 60 vehicles, helping mothers gain greater independence, get to work, and take care of their families with fewer transportation worries. Think about it: these students aren’t just learning how to repair engines. They’re learning how to use their skills to make a real difference in someone’s life. ❤️ Sometimes, the most valuable lesson in school isn’t found in a textbook. It’s learning how to help others. 🥹🔧 Disclaimer: Shared for inspirational purposes. Via: @givingwordsva #GivingBack #ActsOfKindness #EducationMatters #FaithInHumanity #svnm
