Chicken Cajun pasta •8oz linguine •1lb chicken breast •1 tsp garlic powder •1 tsp onion powder •1 tsp Italian seasoning •1 tsp paprika •1/2 tsp black pepper •1/2 tsp salt Sauce: •2 tbsp butter •1/2 onion •1 bell pepper •4 cloves garlic •1 tbsp tomato paste •1 1/2 cup heavy cream •1 tsp chicken bullion •1 tsp paprika •1 tsp garlic powder •1 tsp onion powder •1 tsp Italian seasoning •1/2 tsp cayenne powder •1/2 tsp red pepper flakes •1/2 tsp chipotle pepper powder •1/2 tsp thyme •splash of pasta water •salt and pepper to taste Cook 8 ounces of linguine according to the package directions, reserving a splash of pasta water before draining. While the pasta cooks, season 1 pound of chicken breast with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Heat a drizzle of oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden and fully cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside. In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the diced onion and bell pepper until softened and translucent. Stir in the minced garlic along with half of the seasonings, allowing them to bloom for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the tomato paste and mix well to combine. Pour in the heavy cream, then stir in the chicken bouillon and remaining seasonings, including paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes, chipotle pepper powder, thyme, and salt and pepper to taste. Let the sauce come to a gentle simmer before adding the cooked linguine and a splash of reserved pasta water to help the sauce cling to the pasta. Top the creamy Cajun pasta with the cooked chicken and serve warm. Enjoy 🤎 #cajunpasta #chickenrecipe #pastarecipe #easydinner
