thick & creamy red beans & rice 🫘 🍚. A classic I grew up eating! comforting, filling, and budget-friendly. And it’s all made in one pot, which is always a win. 🛒INGREDIENTS: • 1 lb dried red beans, soaked overnight & rinsed • 1 pack andouille sausage • 1 onion • 1 green bell pepper • 4 celery stalks • 4 cloves garlic • 7 cups water •1 spoonful Better Than Bouillon Reduced Sodium Chicken Base • 2 bay leaves 🧂 Seasonings: Cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, dried thyme 👩🍳HOW TO MAKE: 1. Sort through the dried beans to remove any debris or bad beans. Rinse, then soak overnight in about 6 cups of water. 2. Drain and rinse the beans. 3. Brown the sausage in a large pot, leaving the sausage grease in the pot. 4. Add the onion, bell pepper, and celery. Cook until softened. 5. Add the garlic and cook for about 60 seconds. 6. Add the seasonings drained beans, water, Better Than Bouillon, and bay leaves. 7. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce to a low simmer. Partially cover and cook for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally. 8. As the beans soften, mash some to make the gravy thick and creamy. 9. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed. 10.
